Aisling's BIO

Aisling McCormick is a multi-disciplinary multi-genre creative from Dublin, based in Belfast. Her work as an independent dance artist spans choreography, arts participation and wellbeing. She is an experienced singer and performs regularly with Tonnta Ensemble and HIVE Choir and as a freelance singer. Her varied career path has lead her to a belief that the arts is for all and particularly creative body and voice work can lead to empowerment and increased physical and emotional wellbeing. She is currently undertaking a PhD at Queens University Belfast exploring collaborations between artists and health services. In her spare time she grows artisanal cut flowers with Sow Grateful Flower Farm and leads regular workshops in horticulture, floristry and wellbeing!
